Generator Service for Manufacturing and Industrial Cogeneration
Manufacturing plants combine continuous production lines, strict SLAs and quality systems where a voltage flicker can ruin an entire batch. TEMISA Power Gen serves cogeneration generators, turbogenerators and emergency gensets in sugar mills, paper, petrochemical, food, automotive and other heavy industrial operators across Mexico and Central America. Service documented under CFE LAPEM W4200-12, ISO 9001:2015 and the CRE/CENACE permit framework.

What manufacturing operators are solving today
Manufacturing combines continuous production lines, strict SLAs and quality systems where electrical quality and the availability of critical assets are part of the final product quality. Cogeneration adds CRE/CENACE permits and grid code obligations on top.
- Continuous production lines where a single voltage sag can ruin an entire batch
- ISO 9001 and food safety audit frameworks where electrical events become quality non-conformances
- CRE/CENACE permits for cogeneration operators selling surplus energy to the grid
- Seasonal cogeneration assets (sugar mill harvest, paper mill turnaround) with hard shutdown windows
- Mixed fleets of synchronous generators, turbogenerators and emergency gensets across multiple OEMs
- Power quality, harmonics and reactive compensation in plants with VFDs and large motor loads
- Limited maintenance windows during scheduled plant outages — every hour of overrun has a production cost

FAQ
Frequently asked questions — Manufacturing generator service
Preguntas que recibimos con frecuencia. ¿No encuentras la tuya? Escríbenos a ventas@temisa.mx.
Do you serve sugar mills during the harvest season?
Yes. Sugar mill cogeneration is one of our core sectors. We plan major maintenance for the inter-harvest window (typically May to October in Mexico) and respond with 24/7 priority during the harvest campaign for any unscheduled event. In-shop rewinding capacity available with prioritized logistics for harvest-critical units.
Do you support cogeneration plants under CRE/CENACE permits?
Yes. We document every intervention in a format compatible with CRE (Comisión Reguladora de Energía) and CENACE (Centro Nacional de Control de Energía) audits. This includes commissioning protocols, acceptance test reports under IEEE 115 and maintenance logs traceable to the work-order number under ISO 9001:2015.
Which manufacturing sub-sectors do you support?
Sugar mills, pulp and paper, petrochemical, refining, food and beverage processing, brewing, automotive assembly, glass, cement, steel and other heavy industrial cogeneration operators. Any manufacturing plant operating synchronous generators or turbogenerators 1 to 100 MVA under CRE/CENACE permits or as backup is supported.
Do you work in Central America for manufacturing clients?
Yes. We have documented service experience in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama for manufacturing and cogeneration assets. Field crews and spare parts logistics coordinated with local distributors. Reporting in English or Spanish under ISO 9001:2015.
Can you support a plant turnaround with multiple generators?
Yes. We coordinate parallel work across several generators during a planned plant turnaround — field crews for inspection and testing, in-shop crews for rotors or stators routed back to the workshop, and project documentation consolidated for the turnaround manager. Mobilization scaled to the turnaround size.
